Another theory was that there was more ended dragons and the shulkers killed them which explains why there is an ended dragon head on each ship by some end cities. The shulkers built themselves protection wear which is the purple square they always hide in like turtles. It is to believe they are trying to find the last enter dragon who managed to escape far away in one island which is the island where you appear in to fight him. My own theory that connects to this is that all the players that have entered that island from the ended portal became trapped souls and servants for the ended dragon but this doesn’t explain how there are endermen in the other islands where end cities are and how you can see them on grassland where you spawn. So the final boss is the last dragon of its kind but the real question is why did the shulkers kill all the dragons? And how was a portal to another dimension built and why was it built underground? Who built it? And how did the players discover it? The end portal looks like it was made by end stone so the endermen probably built it. They probably built a portal in the end secretly from their master the ended dragon, then went in it to get back on grassland, but they were still dark souls. So the ones that are in the grass land are probably trying to find end stone to reconstruct the portal and get back to the end for whatever reason, possibly to help the player get to the end and kill the ender dragon for revenge. That explains why the ender men pick up cobblestone because there is a theory they are a bit colored blind and think cobblestone is endstone. But it still doesn’t explain how the end portal and stronghold was built. jeez, that was a lot of typing. Can anyone add to this?
